What you will experience
Saturday morning the skipper will assess the weather to determine where the days activities will take place. A typical days diving would soon see you on site at one of the deeper offshore sites like Gotham City, St Paul or the Cookie Monster, then progressively the sites would get shallower until evening where a night dive would be conducted at either Smith Rock, Flinders or Curtin Reefs. In between dives there is always heaps of food and laughs and of course the possibility of riding the boom net or sea biscuit, sometimes we might go ashore for a walk or to climb the sand dunes.

On Sunday morning we will do an early dive before breakfast After Breakfast another full day of diving will keep you busy. Late afternoon we head for home.

A Bit About The Boat
The M.V.Esperance Star is the premier liveaboard that operates in the Moreton Bay and surrounding areas. Fully air conditioned throughout, boasting 5 separate cabins below deck, you can be assured of complete comfort on your weekend away diving. Two toilets and three separate hot showers means no long waits in the queue. There is a large comfortable lounge area with television and video facilities, so you can relax between dives. Onboard compressor and banks ensure you will not be kept waiting too l

Esperance Star takes 12 passengers, and the crew consists of Divemaster, dive supervisor, cook, and deckhand and of course the skipper Trevor Jackson. Trevor amazes us time and time again with his knowledge of the dive sites. Trip includes up to 8 scuba dives and you can do your advanced course on this trip for only $165, which includes the extra gear that is needed.

The bus leaves from Palm Beach Dive Centre friday nights at 6pm or you can meet at the Esperence Star. (Departs Newport Marina for Moreton Is. friday night at 9-30pm) Returns Sunday Afternoon at 5pm. For more detailed information visit the Esperance Star's Website
